Wow wow and more wow. We were over moon with our whole experience of poco pizza. We are visiting from Oz & we had heard nothing but amazing reviews about the place and if blew us away. Wait staff & owners were super friendly we loved chatting to them all. Everything was perfect from starters, pizzas (highly recommended the monthly special) and dessert. 10:10
We decided to visit this place after reading a post on Dorset Explored Facebook and what's more this place is right next to the beach is dog-friendly and serves what we love - pizza Despite the fact that dogs are only allowed on the terrace we didn't have to wait long for a table. There is a beautiful view from the terrace. We ordered Funghi e Cotto and Parma pizza and Cornish lager. We were hungry after a whole day of walking so we skipped the starters. The food appeared on our table very quickly. The dough was thin and crispy and the rest of the ingredients were fresh, aromatic and very tasty. I have to admit that we were stuffed. The young, energetic and friendly crew provide good service. If you love pizza as much as we do and are going to Lyme Regis, I definitely recommend this place especially if you going with your dog. Absolutely Stunning View, the best pizza outside Italy! If you're in town, a must visit and should be top of the list for food. Diavola was mouthwatering, crispy dough topped with high-quality ingredients. Grace was very hospitable. Must Try!!
Booked here last night on a flying visit to Lyme. From the moment we walked in the door we were welcomed. We’ve eaten pizza in Italy many times and this was very authentic, crisp, well cooked and full of taste. Delicious. The wine too was genuinely lovely, full of flavour and no nasty aftertaste. The whole atmosphere and staff were brilliant. Friendly but not invasive with realistic prices. You can see why Poco pizza is popular. Reserve a table and you won’t be disappointed. This will be out go to when we next visit Lyme.
Just gorgeous. We went for dinner and sat on the balcony, which was nicely protected from the wind (and seagulls!). Service was top tier with such warm and friendly staff. The pizza bases here are nice and crispy and they have such a great selection of pizza toppings. Our favourite was the Hungarian which had pepperoni, nduja and hot honey - delicious!
This place, omg! Let me pause! I am still dreaming about the pizza I had last night. It was one of the best pizzas I have put into my mouth! And I have travelled around Italy. So I know what a good pizza should be. We had the goat cheese and margherita. Dont get me started on their homemade dips!! I can't wait to go back. Good customer service. The place is small but cosy and warm. You need to book a table.
You must visit and enjoy the best pizza and gorgeous and welcoming service! It was warm, super friendly and we felt like we had been invited round to someone’s home and it made our visit to Lyme Regis! Worth every penny! I’ll be dreaming about the pizza for years to come! Thank you!!!
